Galwad Tîm - Dyfed Powys Police requested the teams assistance after receiving a call from the member of the public reporting hearing repeated cries for help and seeing two people sliding down a gully between Pen y Fan and Cribyn. The team were deployed to the scene with the team drone and established there was no one on the north face where they would have slipped to. It was reported that two people were seen walking north towards Brecon in the bottom of the Valley. After an extensive search, it was concluded that whoever had slipped down was almost certaintly uninjured and safe. No one else had heard cries for help and it was concluded it was a well intentioned false alarm. The team were stood down.
