Galwad Tîm - The team were alerted to two walkers in difficulty on Corn du. The walkers set off for their walk at 18.20hrs from Cwm Llwch. They walked to Corn Du via 'Tommy Jones Obelisk', and onto Corn Du summit where they became lost in the dark without adequate clothing, torches or a map. They were cold & anxious & phoned for assistance with limited battery life on their phone. A 'PhoneFind' link was sent which confirmed their position on the summit of Corn Du. The mispers were unable to walk off safely themselves, so BMRT personnel were deployed to locate and assist their evacuation. The walkers were located on the summit of Corn Du, their condition was assessed and they were confirmed as being uninjured but cold. They were walked off the hill to Control at Pont ar Daf, where they were debriefed and transport was then arranged to take them home, as they had travelled to the area by Uber cab from Cardiff.
