21:00 hours the team received a request from Dyfed Powys Police to rescue a female with an ankle injury. The casualty left the car park at Upper Blaen y Glyn at 18.00 hrs following a phone app route including the Beacons Horseshoe. She sustained a minor ankle injury while descending Fan y Big towards Bwlch y Fan and couldn't continue. She phoned for mountain rescue assistance as she felt unable to continue as her ankle was painful and it was getting dark. The casualty was picked up by 2 members of Brecon MRT driving to Bwlch y Fan from the Neuadd Pumphouse. Her injury was assessed by a Brecon MRT medic who concluded that her ankle injury was minor, didn't require first aid or ambulance transport to hospital and that she was fit to drive home. The casualty was driven to the car park at Upper Blaen y Glyn and from there she drove home.
