Achubwyd y person ag anafwyd - The team were alerted to an 80yr old male who had fallen and sustained injuries whilst descending Pen y Fan. He had sustained an head injury . The wound was dressed with a clean dressing and bandaged. He wanted to try and mobilise himself but failed to weight bear as his knee was stiff and painful. Further MR analgesia was refused as he was comfortable after taking his own prior to MR arrival at site. Evacuated by stretcher to waiting vehicle. On route he started vomitting and developed some bruising around his eyes. He was kept comfortable, and given reassurance en route to the waiting vehicle for onwards transportation to hospital. Casualty care was transferred to Central Beacons on arrival at their team vehicle at the Gap.
