Welsh Ambulance requested support with an individual who had sustained a significant lower leg injury in a remote area. As BMRT personnel were en route, the paramedics made the decision to contact Maritime and Coastguard Agency Rescue 187; as BMRT arrived on scene, the individual was being winched onto the helicopter.
