Galwad - A Caller to Dyfed Powys Police (DPP) reported that dog has fallen over the edge on Pen y Fan. DPP Requested assistance from the team. The team incident controller contacted the dog owner who was being assisted by a member of the public to look for the dog on the NE face of Pen y fan, they were requested that they refrain from searching over the edge. BMRT personnel will assist. The Gator and drone team were deployed from Cwm Gwddi to search. Drone team located dog (deceased). The decision was made not to retrieve the dog as it was deemed to be too dangerous a risk for MR personnel to get to the site. The dog owner was escorted off the hill by team members.
