The team were alerted to reports of a male with a medical issue in bad weather on Corn du. Two males left Storey Arms car park at 21:10hrs to climb Pen y Fan. By the time they had reached Corn Du the weather forced them to hide behind a rock and they called 999. Both males were extremely cold with one having suspected asthma attack and chest tightness/pains. Casualties' location confirmed by telephone contact and Phone Find. Gator and personnel were deployed from Pont ar Daf car park to Bwlch Duwynt and then onwards by foot. Casualties were located centrally on the peak and confirmed they were ok before slowly walked off to a more sheltered area for assessment. Then walked to Gator and evacuated back down to control. Re-warmed. Hot drinks and food were provided. CBMRT doctor checked both males. No issues. Taken back to their car which was parked at Storey Arms.
