The ambulance service requested the teams assistance with a motorcyclist who had come off his bike and sustained an injury. Motor cyclist came off bike and open wound to leg. Remote location so ambulance on scene but unable to reach location of casualty. The team were on route when we were advised that the Emergency Medical Retrieval and Transfer Service (EMRTS) helicopter had landed on and were able to evacuate the casualty so the team was stood down
