Galwad Tîm - The team were alerted to a group of three in difficulties near Llyn Cwm Llwch. 3 male caught train and bus from Cardiff to Pont ar daf and Walked up Pen y Fan. They then descended to the Llyn Cwm Llwch. They erected a tent but did not have any other equipment (sleeping bags etc). They all became very cold, and one casualty became unresponsive and had difficulty breathing. Conditions on the ground were extremely poor. Driving snow, high winds. Very poor visibility. Due to extremely poor road conditions, we met at Brecon Base. We used The ATV Gator and the Land Rover ZW to ferry personnel as close to the casualty site as possible. Z1 party located and assessed the casualties. After warming 2 casualties were walked out and transported using the Gator an ZW back to Base. The remaining casualty gradually became more responsive but he was stretched down the hill nad handed over to a waiting WAST land ambulance at Cwm Llwch.
