Lleolwyd Cerddwyr Coll - The team were alerted by Dyfed Powys police to two missing walkers near Cwm Gwdi. Two females travelled up from Cardiff set off from Cwm Gwdi in order to climb Pen Y Fan. They thought this was the tourist route and became confused. They left the main track and became disorientated and unable to move on steep ground. Their clothing was inadequate, and they quickly became wet and very cold. They only light source was from their mobile phones. The drone team and an advanced party were sent on to the hill. The casualties were contacted on their mobile for a welfare check. Z1 party had visual on them quickly and were able to reach the casualty site, the missing walkers were given warm clothing and checked over before being walked off the hill back to the RV and their vehicle. Advice was given at control regarding training, clothing preparation and equipment needed
