The team were alerted to a female with a leg injury unable to weight bear. The Casualty and family were walking below Craig y Fan Ddu ridge when she slipped and injured her left ankle. She was unable to weight bear and her family couldn't carry her down the steep path to the car park at Torpantau, so called for mountain rescue assistance. The casualty's location was known and she was quickly located by team members before being given Entonox and Ibuprofen analgesia. The injured left ankle was vacuum splinted and the casualty was evacuated on the Ferno stretcher to the car park at Torpantau by team members. The casualty then went to hospital for further treatment.
