Achubwyd y person ag anafwyd - Dyfed Powys Police requested the teams assistance with a male who had fallen and was unable to walk. He was part of a Group of four friends from Warwickshire who had driven to the Beacons with the in intention of climbing Pen y fan.The group set off from Storey Arms and by the time they got to the final pitch before Corn Du Summit one member had very cold wet feet and hands and it slipped over so many times on his backside that his back was starting to hurt. . Two members of the public stopped to assist him. They were unable to help as they had very little equipment but they did call for mountain rescue. A second passerby later stopped to assist. He changed his socks gave him a warm drink and put him inside a poly bag to protect him from the wind, they then waited for assistance from the mountain rescue team. When the team arrived he was properly rewarmed and given some crampons and was walked off the hill.
