Lleolwyd Cerddwyr Coll. A couple became disorientated in mist and rain; they used "what 3 words" to try to identify their position but this placed them 12 km from where they thought they were. The weather was deteriorating and it was getting dark and the couple were not adequately equipped. A phone finder app was used to identify their position, which was just north of Fan foel. Attempts were made to contact the walkers with this information but they did not pick up. Two MR parties were despatched toward the walkers position and eventually phone contact was achieved and the walkers had got off the hill safely and were driving back to Trecastle.
