Half way up Path from Pont ar Daf to PyF

15 members of BMRT and 5 from CBMRT

The team were alerted by Dyfed Powys Police for a hiker who had gone over on an ankle. Their phone had cut out. Rough location on path between Pont ar daf and Peny fan. CBMRT were also called by our incident controller. A hasty party of 3 took a party pack ( contain first aid heat packs group shelter O2 and casualty bag), vacuum splints entonox and morphine to casualty. Second party took stretcher, large cas bag and skids. Next party took stretcher wheel. Other parties headed up with own kit. Cas site location met and informed control of location. On site pt given entonox, leg splinted splint, rewarmed, loaded on to stretcher, in a large cas bag, and walked down. Crampon use. Brought to car park and reassessed ankle. and put in husbands car to take to hospital once arterial supply to foot confirmed. Team stood down shortly afterwards
