Dyfed Powys Police requested the team's assistance to rescue a male with severe back spasms who was unable to walk. Contact was made with the casualty who described hi back pain as severe. Coastguard Rescue 187 helicopter was requested. The Casualty was treated on site with penthrox and then was able to slowly walk to the helicopter for onward transport to hospital. The alternative would have been a long and bumpy stretcher evacuation.
