Dyfed Powys Police requested the team's assistance after a 15 year old male was reported missng by his parents. He left Pont ar Daf carpark with parents and walking to the summit of Pen y fan. He hot off ahead of his parents. They had contact with him at 12.24pm all was fine. He used WhatsApp at 1pm contact was then lost. National trust warden searched nothing found. Sometime after 1pm a person matching his description was spotted walking down the ridge to Neudd Reservoir. Witness reported mist coming in. BMRT set up an RV at Pont yr Daf. On arrival the National Trust warden informed us that the Misper had called father to safe at he was safe at the Red Cow Pub Pontsticilli. Father left Pont-ar-daf to drive round and collect him.
