The team was requested to attend a female who had fallen off her horse at speed. The Location given was unspecific and phone signal poor. The casualty was very vague about location and was on wide open moorland and not on a path. The informant's phone too old to do phone find and second persons took time to connect. so it took over an hour to get an accurate location. Team then got there quickly and assessed and treated the casualty with pain relief, pelvic binder and vaccum matress. The injuries suggested helicopter evacuation advisable and Coastguard Rescue R187 was already out on training and arrived quickly to take casualty to Hospital.
