Police alerted the team to a male lost near Calerwen Dam in the Elan Valley. He was walking cross-country not on path when the ground became very difficult and he lost confidence in his ability to continue. He called for assistance. The teams Incident controller spoke to casualty and as he had been located use phone find, a route out was discussed, while the team were on their way. Using the map it was agreed that the casualty should slowly walk east to look for one of the stream gulleys and follow them to descend from the hill. The casualty was able to make his way carefully down to a track and walk to the road head where he was met by family members. The team were then stood down on route to the RV
