Tommy Jones's Obelisk

Whilst attending to another casualty (see previous report) we were alerted to a male with a medical issue near Tommy Jones's oblelisk on Corn du. A couple from Cornwall were on a day walk up Pen y Fan when the male (69yrs) collapsed. CPR was ongoing by members of the public when the team was called. Team members responded on foot with a defibrillator. EMRTS were on scene and Coastguard Rescue 187 helicopter also attended as well as WAST resources. Sadly the male was declared life extinct on the hill.
