The team were alerted by Dyfed Powys Police to a lone male out walking his dog near to home. Slipped in snowy conditions. Felt leg break. While team en route police Control established that the Fire Service had responded and were on scene. They were not medically nor technically trained and were reporting casualty was hypothermic, had fractured his lower left leg and was on a 6 inch wide path above a 150ft drop. The casualty was treated by a team paramedic and evacuated by Coastguard Rescue helicopter 187 from ST Athan.
