Dyfed Powys police requested our assistence with a father and son stranded in bad weather. Father and son driving back with trailer from Lampeter to Worcester following sat nav which directed them along minor lanes above Abergwesyn in subzero temperatures and along icy untreated roads. Their car came off road in isolated location. They walked a mile in snow to ring police for help. Precise location unknown. We mobilised in a team vehicle, identified where they had called from and followed footprints in snow to their car. Landrover unable to drive closer due to icy road conditions. They were evacuated back to our vehicle and then in a Forestry vehicle to stay night in Llanwyrtyd Wells. They were uninjured
